Whatever you do today legislation requires you to do many things, running a business is no exception. Indeed many believe that legislation of business activities has become burdensome. it is however something that you will need to be aware of and comply with. Your landlord may want to see that you have complied with certain regulations to avoid invalidating the insurance cover to the premises or to fulfil their own compliance obligations.

Different types of businesses will be governed by different legislation and the scope of such legislation is too great to cover here. There are however some regulations that apply to most businesses, we have tried to focus on these and provide information and links to help you comply with your obligations in these areas.
